THE CONTROVERSIAL CAMPUS

SKULL AND BONES

Yale University is regarded as one of the most preeminent institutions in America. Some historians suggest Yale is the finest educational facility in the world. It is not my intention to provide counterargument here because I believe such statements are entirely accurate. Established in 1701, Yale is the third oldest institution of higher learning in America with a long tradition of unparalleled excellence. These facts are irrefutable. However, hidden among Yale’s esteemed traditions are darker components which have surfaced over past years. Indeed, this subject matter has been the focus of literate research exposed in books and other commentary surrounding the so-called Illuminati-and its subsequent ideological transference to Yale’s secret society named Skull and Bones, founded in 1832.

Bones did not appear before the incarnation of the Illuminati, nor did Illuminati secret societies begin prior to formation of Freemasonry in 1717. Although little information certifies a nexus between Bones’ relationship with Freemason principles per se, it cannot be totally disregarded. Indeed, all college fraternities were modeled to varying degrees by oaths, customs, rituals and vows of silence inherent in Freemasonry and its secret society brethren. Therefore, Illuminati societies which followed may have logically engaged at least some Freemason tenets within their organizational structure.  In any event, the Bavarian Illuminati subsequent to Freemasonry, was founded on May 1, 1776, by Jesuit taught Adam Weishaupt, in Ingolstadt, upper Bavaria. Their charter espoused rejection of state power structure, religious influences, and generally prejudice and superstition within the mind-think pervading those times. Amazingly, the Illuminati fought for women’s rights and equality far before it became socially and politically expedient. Free thinkers extraordinaire! Unfortunately, those high ideals did not set well with the Bavarian government nor the Catholic Church. In 1785, both entities working in tandem outlawed and dismantled the Illuminati and all secret societies.

The beginnings of S&B carried unmistakable characteristics of rituals inherent with the Bavarian Illuminati, however. It is not my intention to detail the entire scope of parallels due to this short discussion, however it would be remiss not to include a few examples of their reliance. One of the founders was William Huntington Russell, who after studying abroad in Germany, brought insider knowledge of the Illuminati within S&B’s founding at Yale. In 1876, a small group of Yale students breached the S&B headquarters known as The Tomb. Among other things, they found a card entitled “From the German Chapter, Presented by Patriarch D. C. Gilman of D. 50” which was framed and hung on wall. They also found some German writing on an open burial vault which contained four human skulls, reading, Wer war der Thor, wer Weiser, Bettler oder Kaiser? Ob Arm, ob Reich, im Tode gleich.” Translated into English it reads, Who was the fool, who was the wise man, beggar or king? Whether rich or poor, all’s the same in death.” These affirmations are virtually the same as was the initiation ritual into the Bavarian Illuminati. Such ritualistic quotations are found in John Robison’s book Proofs of a Conspiracy, written in 1798.

The outgrowth of S&B, through ongoing graduation from its very cloistered society, provides extraordinary confirmation of elite bloodlines assimilating into America’s power structure. Hardly by coincidence have the greatest household names appeared, directly resulting from only fifteen juniors being “tapped” each year by seniors for S&B initiation. Some of the many graduates include George Bush Sr. as well as son George Bush Jr., and John Kerry, all who exemplify Bones’s ultra political ascendency. Other names such as Rockefeller (Standard Oil), Weyerhaeuser, (Lumber), Pillsbury (Flour Milling), and the Harriman’s (Railroads) confirm integration within mega businesses. S&B banking luminaries are also many. Names such as Harold Stanley (Guaranty Trust), Harry P. Whitney (Guaranty Trust), and Percy Rockefeller (Guaranty Trust) are a few early turn of the century confirmations. A remarkable listing of names appear for the research minded seeking broader confirmation.

Clearly evident from this short discussion are two pervasive themes. One, members of S&B are repeatedly assimilated within America ’s diverse upper echelon control positions. Although the “graduating class” comprise only fifteen students yearly, and despite any one time only six-hundred or so Bonesman are alive and operating within the power structure, their ultra level positioning insure sweeping interlocking connections over American society. Secondly, Bonesman are selected not only upon intelligence parameters but also required linkage to old line, genetic family bloodlines. One without the other is a non-starter. Reoccurring discussion of this hereditary control controversy cannot be settled here-that is, its secretive lock on American society as detrimental to equal access for non S&B graduates. What is factual, and highly controversial, are implications of the select few controlling the many as a result.
